It seems not to be an issue for Expect. Expect's code seems to be
written in a fairly portable manner. I do not have first hand info.
>From the changlog(history) details, 64bit seems to be actively used by
people. I also checked some of the rpm sources build contributions for
64bit on other linux platforms and the patches contributed, the one
correction I saw specific to 64bit issue has already be taken care in
an earlier version (5.39).
