I don't have a good answer for this one (except perhaps nuking the old
Solaris curses), but I think having /usr/bin/tack coming from one
curses-like implementation and /usr/bin/infocmp coming from a
completely different one would be quite confusing.
Mixing them can't be the right answer, can it?
