The specification sent out for review says this:

  talk to external servers. Note: this proposal only handles TCP and
  UDP; SCTP is beyond its scope.

I assume that's a future project, if SCTP is to be supported within
Sun Cluster at all.  (Just like IPv6, it'd likely require non-trivial
changes to the Sun Cluster code to do it.)
