The current /usr/bin/man command has better functionality than that:
the user doesn't even have to set the MANPATH variable; it
automatically constructs the correct man page path from the PATH
variable. Thus, using this GUI will present a functional regression
from the command line.
In any event, this fast-track has been derailed. Please place any
additional concerns into the 'issues' file in the case directory, and
when it comes up for review, be prepared to discuss them.
