Problem Statement:

The legacy diaudio module in Solaris lacks any consumers, and is a legacy
API that was never removed.  It was superseded by the newer SADA (Sun Audio
Device Architecture) framework specified in PSARC 2001/226

The APIs in diaudio have, to the best of our knowledge, never been publicly
documented, and are not covered by any ARC materials.

As a result, diaudio represents dead code that should just be removed from
Solaris, and whose removal represents close to zero risk to Sun.
