LSARC,

I am sponsoring this fast track for the JDS Team in Beijing,China and
Dublin, Ireland. I believe that this case qualifies for automatic
approval because:

	1. the project team is following the community
	2. the majority of interface that have evolved are Volatile
	3. the Committed interfaces have added a few interfaces and
removed 5 interfaces introduced during development of
            Gnome 2.24

The case materials contains the details of the 4 removed interfaces
from GTK+-2.0 interface and 1 removed interface from Glib, this
proposal as well as the new interface table.

This project proposes to follow the Gnome Community with the Gnome 2.24
release. The previous case (LSARC/2008/510) was based upon the
development version of Gnome (aka Gnome 2.23). As already stated the
majority of interfaces that have changed when compared to the previous
case are declared Volatile. Those few interfaces that are removed from
Committed interfaces were introduced during development of Gnome 2.24
either by the community or a build error. The project is requesting a
Minor release binding.

Thanks,

John
