PSARC/2008/605 - Extensions to fmd for LDOMs IO

Here is an updated version of fmd_api.txt.

In addition to fixing the typo, it changes the API name from
fmd_hdl_checkpoint() to fmd_thr_checkpoint() as requested
by Mike Shapiro.
