The diffmarked manpage in the case materials explained it a bit better:

     O               Octet string. A struct berval * is supplied.  +
                     An octet string element is output.            +

It's not of the same form as the other specifiers, unless there's a typo
in the manpage.

Milan, should this be "-O" or is it really just "O"?
