Sun was and still may be a paying andthus voting member of the OpenGroup.
Who from Sun is now officially taking the word for making proposals that are
intented to become a POSIX enhancement?
Another question is: why did the strl*() functions from Sun not make it into
the current POSIX standard? Was there no related proposal from Sun?
