It seems that you miss reality - sorry.

I know that many in special commercial users install software from blastwave.
The  software from blastwave is even PGP signed....

You may like to ask Dennis about numbers.

You may ask Dennis on how many people install cdrtools from Blastwave and 
schilyutils is a dependeny for cdrtools as it contains manpages that are needed
as references for cdrtools.
