[osol-discuss] Hourly Consultant Needed

Pioneer Balloon is looking for someone to hire on an hourly basis to consult on Solaris x86, ZFS, Samba, and Active Directory integration.

The ideal candidate would have a few years of hands-on experience with Samba in a production environment using Active Directory, at least a few months of hands on experience with Solaris on an x86 platform, and experience configuring and troubleshooting ZFS.

Some of the tasks that will need to be accomplished:
  - Determine why Samba file change notification isn't functional
  - Establish a configuration plan for exposing files to groups of users
  - Upgrade to newer versions of Samba as released
  - Enhance the scheduled snapshot functionality for ZFS
  - Troubleshoot client connectivity problems to samba
  - Provide ongoing configuration assistance as needed
  - Provide guidelines for upgrade procedures as new versions of samba and Solaris are released
