I fail to see how Open Solaris can direct Sun's marketing for Solaris
or anything other Sun product.

You can probably help change the name for the Open Solaris group, but
getting Sun's marketing to conform to what the community demands is
much less likely.

For that matter, why do you care?

If you don't have the code, that project would be worthless.  We don't
have the code now, and despite the current promises of a better
future, I'll believe it when I see it.

Consider this a '-1' from me until CDE itself is available as open
source.
