The shirts get shipped out in bulk mail most likely to save on shipping costs.  It can take 2 months+ to get to you.  I can't complain because it was free and a very nice gesture.  

I got a free t-shirt for the Solaris 10 launch as opposed to the Opensolaris launch.  I assume they used the same channel to make/ship the shirts and it will take just as long to get to you.

Anyway, I wear my Solaris T-shirt fairly often which is rare for me as I normally don't wear "techie" emblazoned swag.  I've found its a good way to identify those that are clued in and those that think Internet Explorer "is" the Internet.
