I completely agree with this. If you're going to go to the trouble of
flying a bunch of core developers in for the invite only 'FOO Camp'
style event, you might as well get the use out of their cheer leading
abilities for one or two days of general technical conference after
that.

I'm not entirely sure I agree about having an extra day for marketing
though - isn't the value having a whole heap of cool OpenSolaris
developers in town enough? Slotting in a few key thought about keynotes
for suitable high profile speakers into the technical conference seems
like a better approach - at least for the short term, until we grow the
community.
