I doubt too many people will be bookmarking the front page ;)

I do think that we need a steady evolution of the front page though to
push the community off into different directions that are hot. It's all
about cheerleading, excitement and growing the community. How are we
going to get them back after their first browse - is it a sense of
technology, or community, or both? others? How do we get them back on a
regular basis...then the $1,000,000 question, how do we get them to
contribute? I think opensolaris.org has a powerful part to play in that.

For example, this is an evolution of what gnome.org has been doing, and
I find it's pretty effective -
