great idea...  ask for help... (perhaps patrick should as the metrics guy?)

it's important to make sure people realize the risks of communicating a partial 
number too - detail oriented people (who would read, remember and account for 
the caveat that the data is partial) might not immediately realize how many 
people will grab the partial number and run...
