A great idea, but (if I can say so without stepping on anyone's toes) I think
Jim G would be a more logical choice.  He's the Open Solaris program manager,
and would be perceived as less corporate than a VP.  (I've nothing against Tom;
he seemed OK to me when I met him at the CAB's inaugral meeting last April.)

'Course what with moving to Japan and all, Jim might be a little bit busy!
