   Actually multiboot DVDs have been quite effective in bundling and 
showing of the
   various Linux LiveCDs. Such DVDs are used by magazines to bundle a 
bunch of LiveCD
   distros rather than distribute a bunch of CDs.

   A side benefit to a DVD is further improvement in boottime 
performance (apart from
   compression and all that) since data is physically more condensed and 
the DVD head has
   to move less.
