Joerg -- Sorry, I should have mentioned SchilliX. (I think
I'm using the word "groundwork" in a different meaning and
context here.) SchilliX was absolutely THE pioneering distro,
and I did attempt to capture that in a little historical

As for the history of Belenix, I think Moinak's blog is a
