Here's what I've discovered. ( in case anyone else is curious, as well
as so that I have somewhere easily accessible to get it again when i'm
lost in california in the future )
We can take the BART milbrae light transit to the end, get off and go
to caltrain station which is across the street or down the stairs or
somewhere in the close vicinity, the caltrain goes to san jose, then
the san jose -> santa cruz highway 17 shuttle will get us somewhere
downtown santa cruz. Should cost on the order of $10 to take this trip
I walked with my bags from the bus station to the hotel last year, it
was about 6 or 7 blocks and a little bit of a hill, but it wasn't bad.
We're in a different hotel this year, but i think it was in the same
neighbourhood.
Cheers, and here's hoping we all find less complicated travel arrangements
