[pkg-discuss] Using the CLI and the GUI simultaneously

Hello,

I am using OpenSolaris 2008.05

I have been using the GUI for IPS to install various packages. Today,
I also used the CLI to install/retrieve the package repositories.

So, is this is a difference from Synaptic package manager which allows
only one "instance" of the package manager running?
