The current packages deliver to a mix of /usr/openwin & /usr/dt
with cross-links - mostly to /usr/dt, with links from /usr/openwin,
though tooltalk was the other way around. I fixed the Tooltalk SVR4
packages to match the others for snv_100 as part of our /usr/openwin
EOL'ing work, but the CDE builds broke before they could be delivered
and are just now being repaired, so those changes haven't been delivered y
et (probably not until snv_112, unless we specially request delivery to
snv_111) - you can see the internal webrev for them at:
http://xserver.sfbay.sun.com/webrevs/CDE/1.7/4478262/001/webrev/
Of course, I've started wondering at what point I'll give up and admit
it's time to follow everyone else out of the /usr/X11 wilderness and
just deliver X into /usr/bin & /usr/lib, as all the Linux distros do now,
and as we've done in OpenSolaris with the previous contents of /usr/sfw
& /usr/ccs, though that's going to be another fine mess of compatibility
cross links. Certainly I can't imagine that point being any sooner
than the 2009.06 release, but maybe for 2009.12... *shudder*
