[pkg-discuss] Package renaming - what about install clusters and incorporations?

Folks,

I've been reviewing 
http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=6186 and I'm not seeing 
a plan for what to do about our packages with names like "entire" and 
"redistributable". Is this renaming effort intended to address these 
types of packages initially, or will they follow?

I'm developing a repo for SRSS currently. Should I be considering a 
hierarchical namespace similar to what's being used in OpenSolaris?

Are there changes to the base system required to support a hierarchical 
namespace today or do I need to wait for the Solaris renaming work to 
get integrated? Is there a target build for integrating it?
