Hi,

We recently had memory issues until we installed patch 127127-11.
Maybe you want to install this patch too.

Looking at your configuration, are you sure you need such a large buffer:
bufsize = li 1024 lock   = 256 MB

We use (2 LTO3 drives, 2GB server memory, samfs 2.6.40):
# archive up to archmax bytes at a time: (default 512M)
archmax = li 3G
# use that many buffers for tape I/O (in blk units; one blk is 256k)
bufsize = li 32 lock
