Hi everyone,

Please, I need to create a new volume in the 6540 StorageTek Array and an old LUN has this label:

partition> p

Current partition table (original):

Total disk cylinders available: 24248 + 2 (reserved cylinders)

Part Tag Flag Cylinders Size Blocks

  0 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0

  1 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0

  2 backup wu 0 - 24247 47.36GB (24248/0/0) 99319808

  3 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0

  4 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0

  5 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0

  6 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0

  7 - wu 0 - 24247 47.36GB (24248/0/0) 99319808

But a new LUN that I created brought the label below:

partition> p

Current partition table (original):

Total disk sectors available: 2571192286 + 16384 (reserved sectors)

Part Tag Flag First Sector Size Last Sector

  0 usr wm 34 1.20TB 2571192286

  1 unassigned wm 0 0 0

  2 unassigned wm 0 0 0

  3 unassigned wm 0 0 0

  4 unassigned wm 0 0 0

  5 unassigned wm 0 0 0

  6 unassigned wm 0 0 0

  8 reserved wm 2571192287 8.00MB 2571208670

How can I change to the first LUN format with seven slices?

Cheers,
