NDMP has bad performance when working with small files. Also it keeps 
all file information in memory. In case of tens of millions of files it 
eats up almost all free memory. I think zfs send/receive will help a lot 
in this case.

One more question - is it possible (and how) to setup EMC Networker to 
make "disk to disk" copy, similar to ndmpcopy utility?
