Repeat post. Is there anyone out there who wants to take a stab at this 
project. Would be a cool one to try. BTW, Bray Cantrill is one of the 
fathers of Dtrace.

Bryan Cantrill posted [10] an idea for a straighforward, useful project 
to provide a log provider that adds a SDT probe to log_makemsg() so you 
could easily debug where error message are coming from.
