   Yes this is being considered. I am working out another extension
   to HSFS, that will keep the CDROM drive active for a longer
   duration. Doing this in HSFS as opposed to a background process
   has the advantage of low overhead and the ability to detect I/O
   activity and perform keepalive disk activity only during quiet
   periods.
