Well you can tweak the /lib/svc/method/xserver script to give you the
livecd-like
behavior:
* Execute 'echo "2" > /.desk'
* Edit the /lib/svc/method/xserver script that delete the lines:
if [ -f /.livecd ]
then
at the beginning and also delete the corresponding:
fi
at the end of the script.

Using Dataone on Solaris is easy. I used it for 2 months while
working from Calcutta:
* You ADSL modem should have an ethernet port that is connected
to your computer's ethernet port - that's how you'd see the eth0
on linux.
* On BeleniX execute:
ifconfig -a plumb
ifconfig -a
This will show you all the interfaces. The lo0 is loopback and the
other one will be your ethernet. Note down this name.
* Now follow the instructions at (pppoe is already present on BeleniX
so you can ignore the "*INSTALLING PPPD 4.0" section.*
