[ug-bosug] Project initiation

There is already at least one other project on opensolaris.org which
aims to do something similar.  It in fact goes a little beyond and
tries to automate a lot of the network configuration.

Network Auto-Magic (NWAM):

This will probably end up integrating with the GUI provided by the
Visual Panels interface (being developed in Java):
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/vpanels/

The best option might be to join these projects and work with them.

PS: If you are thinking of a standalone GUI for configuring
    networks, the "netprof" and "inetmenu" utilities are already
    available.  Not sure if they are being developed anymore.  NWAM
    seems to be the way to go.
