Hi Kishore,

Please collaborate with the Campus Ambassador for starting the OSUG. He has
the powers to start the OSUG pages on opensolaris.org. All else is managed
form the campus.

Here are a few ideas for Solaris awareness.

* Kindly ask everyone interested to goto get.opensolaris.org , register and
order a free DVD of Solaris Express. This DVD also contains developer tools
like Sun Studio(C/C++) and Netbeans (Java).

* Solaris will be very easy to get the hang of to those who already have
experience with Linux.

* Very good tutorials for Netbeans and Sun Studio are available on the net.

* The CA will be conducting seminars on various technologies like Java,
Solaris, Dtrace, ZFS, Zones, Sun Studio, Netbeans.

* As for the videos, BOSUG members will be uploading the same soon. It will
be announced on this list soon.

* Opensolaris.org has a lot of documentation if you get stuck somewhere. For
very quick redressal of issues that you face, you can goto #opensolaris at
irc.freenode.net , or post the queries to this mailing list.
