Thanks, Anil!  This is essentially what I tried to hack the shell
script into doing.  It failed creating slices.  Will try these
steps manually and let you know.

By the way, has anyone tried setting up a dual-boot (BeleniX and
Linux) setup on USB?  Don't think it should be complex, but if
someone has already tried this out, I'd like to hear about it.
