Hi anand,
This seems like a display issue.
if you have an up and working solaris, just copy the /etc/X11/xorg.conf from
there to a floppy/usb.
Then startin commandline mode and replace the current xorg.conf with your
backed up one.
If you want to check if your display driver is supported, head to
http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/hcts/device_detect.html and run the test
(can be taken up in windows/linux)
