pkgbuild/SFE was on my wish list.

Also, I would love to hear about "how to customize desktop" from the
perspective of putting it into a distro.
[1] If I were to build xfce or kde to make it part of a distro, what
customization do I need to make and at what stage (pre-build, during
build, post-build) to give it a professional look.
Installing fluxbox / xfce / kde from blastwave on SXCE is not the same
as using these desktops on one of the good Linux systems which bundle
these. The bundled ones provide a better "finish", no breakages, etc.
[2] Also if one were to implement the kind of "start menu" with
Susie/Sabayon, what kind of changes are required for the respective
desktops.

I had a look at Sabayon Linux and it is quite impressive. Many good
features. Also, many minor things that makes a user happy. Will bring
it for those interested to have a look.
