Hi Sriram,

Firstly i missed one detail.
One *must* use *gtar* instead of sun tar to extract qt-4.3.
(The qt archive was created using gnu tar, there's a problem with some
files if extract with sun tar.)

Well, personally, there are lot of helpful people like Venky, Moinak
Stefan Teleman , BOSUG members and folks on #opensolaris who answer all
my stupid questions.
(And i will continue to bombard them with questions till they ask me to
buzz off :) )

I will be replicating the *exact* setup mentioned in the
techbase.kde.org article.
I've already got cmake compiled.
Next target is to go after strigi.
I'll do that tonight :)

Yeah. Understood!

I think i'll be using SunStudio 12 + SXDE as my base environment.
S10 is a tough target to get to; lots of dependencies have to be built.
Too tough for me as of now as I have yet to learn the intricacies of
building on Solaris.
As of now, Stefan Teleman is targeting S10 and i'm targeting SXDE.
(bascially solaris nevada b55+ as of now)

Thanks! In case you are interested i've blogged about it as well

Thanks
