Hi,

This almost certainly is an xorg.conf issue. I seen this crop up in many
installs (Of Solaris Express, but should be the same on nexenta)

The workaround I try is to boot from BeleniX (on the starter kit), and
copying the /etc/x11/xorg.conf to the same location on the HD partition
containing opensolaris. This has worked all the times I've tried.

On another note, i'd recommend Solaris Express over Nexenta, as there is
more documentation/support for the later and it evolves actively. It also
uses Gnome, and with the ubuntu theme should look exactly like Ubuntu.

Regards
