[ug-bosug] Build mozilla's gecko sdk on OpenSolaris

Hi Guys,
I have some ebooks that are in chm format. I had come across this nice chm
reader add-on to firefox. Wanted to have it on my SXCR system but it failed
saying SunOS not supported. It seems it has C++ components that need a build
on the target platform.
Now I checked if I could build it, but the build needs the mozilla gecko sdk
which again does not have ready Solaris build scripts/binaries. This project
by default supports windows and linux only. The build needs gcc(recommended
< 2.9.3) and make (2.13). The project has not moved to the newer tool chain.
Sunfreeware and Blastwave do not have these old build tools.
An innocuous looking browser plugin has such back end dependancies! CHMPane
currently in alpha state(http://sourceforge.net/projects/chmpane) is an
alternate that I tried and it seems to do a decent job.
If anyone has tried and been successful, can you share it with me. (Solaris
10 has mozilla as the default browser and "probably" building firefox also
needs gecko sdk. So I assume there are people who have done this).
Else I am not interested enough to try it from scratch since alternative is
available.
regards
Shiv
