   Hey that's cool. The current installer is written in Perl and uses 
the Perl-Curses
   interface. I think anaconda will be overkill and would require a lot 
of effort
   to retrofit for BeleniX and remove linux-isms etc.

   Rather the existing Perl based installer can be taken forward using 
PerlGTK.
   The installer code can be looked at from the livecd itself:

   /usr/bin/hdinstaller
   /usr/foss/lib/site_perl/disk.pm
