I really  do not  know the "legal"  implications. From  what I
understand, what you  are taking about is  the GNU/Linux legal
framework  (a GNU  and FSF  issue)  and not  the linux  kernel
itself (not  much sharing  can be done  in this  area, without
major  re-write in  both). Where  is the  problem ?  Is it  in
building applications  licensed under  different licenses  ? I
thought they  were permitted !  That is how you  have software
like GNU bash (for example) in  most *nix flavours even if the
licenses varies. Isn't that "code sharing" ? ... or am I wrong
somewhere.
