Hi KNR,

The upcoming Slim Install project is supposed solve the Install
memory requirement woes:

http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/caiman/Slim_Install/

Though the initial release will be a preview/beta release only providing
a basic OpenSolaris environment, not a complete Solaris Express setup.
However a bunch of that work can be plugged back into the Solaris
Express LiveMedia Kit to provide a smooth install experience for a
complete Solaris Express environment requiring just 70MB of RAM.

LiveMedia Kit:
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/livemedia/

It will be possible to do this once a Slim Install beta release is
available,
sometime in Oct. In fact if the lab machines have USB ports we can also
do very fast installs from a USB stick.

Regards,
Moinak.
