[ug-bosug] DHCP Problem

When I installed solaris initially I chose the option as an non-networked system. After that I wanted to connect to a network. Hence I did sys-unconfig and upon reboot I configured network. Now the problem is when I am not connected to the network and I boot my system it is taking a long time to bring up because it is trying to configure DHCP. How do I solve this? Also is there anyway to configure network without sys-unconfig?
