Hey,

I think people are getting confused with terminology here. There are two
similar sounding shells

Bourne Shell - /bin/sh - The Unix Version 7 shell that Kerninghan and
Pike talk about in "The UNIX programming environment"
Source:
http://src.opensolaris.org/source/xref/onnv/onnv-gate/usr/src/cmd/sh/

Bourne-Again Shell - /bin/bash - The "modern" sh variant from the GNU
project
Source: http://src.opensolaris.org/source/xref/sfw/usr/src/cmd/bash

Cheers,
Ananth
