What is the make/model of your Wifi card? Wifi support is decent in SXDE.
You might need to install ndiswrapper to get it working if it is not
supported out of the box ( The Wifi card in my Acer Aspire 2920 is)

Unfortunately, Solaris/OpenSolaris does not have support for bluetooth yet
:(

Have you configured SMTP in evolution properly?

If you're using GMail IMAP , you can use
"Receiving Email" tab:
Server type: IMAP
Server: imap.gmail.com:993
Username: your gmail username
Use secure connection: SSL Encryption
Authentication type: Password

"Sending Email" tab:
Server type: SMTP
Server: smtp.gmail.com:465 or smtp.gmail.com:587
Use secure connection: SSL Encryption
(Authentication) Type: Login
Username: your gmail username

I hope that this will help you to get it working.

Solaris Express developer edition also comes with Thunderbird. If you want
to setup GMail with Thunderbird, here you go:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=77662
Have a look at the thunderbird page even if you dont want to use it. It will
help you get the options right
