   There is  a dtlogin integration package from the KDE Solaris project
   for KDE3.
   BTW the KDE 3.5.8 packages include a .desktop file for GDM
   integration. You can get KDE listed as a session if you switch to GDM:

   From a root terminal execute:  svcadm disable cde-login
   This will drop you into text mode console login. Login as root and 
execute:
   svcadm enable gdm; exit 0
