[ug-bosug] Building syslog-ng from SFE fails ( looks for EVTLOG )

Hi BOSUG,

I wanted to build syslog-ng from SFE.
I ran a simple pkgtool --download build SFEsyslog-ng.spec

The build failed.

The relevant section in the log:
pkgbuild: checking whether to enable Sun STREAMS support... yes
pkgbuild: checking whether to enable Sun door support... yes
pkgbuild: checking whether to enable TCP wrapper support... yes
pkgbuild: checking whether to enable spoof source support... no
pkgbuild: checking whether to enable IPv6 support... yes
pkgbuild: checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
pkgbuild: checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
pkgbuild: checking for GLIB... yes
pkgbuild: checking for EVTLOG... no
pkgbuild: configure: error: Cannot find eventlog version >= 0.2: is 
pkg-config in path?
pkgbuild: Bad exit status from 
/var/tmp/pkgbuild-manish/pkgbuild-tmp-2.24615 (%build)

I have attached the complete log file.
I think it needs eventlog for the build to go through. I have not been 
able to find eventlog in SFE.
Can someone please help me with this?
