Interesting, indeed. Ben gets it right that the community has power. 
That includes those inside Sun *and* outside Sun, and I think that's 
where things get confused. Where is the "community" anyway? Inside? 
Outside? A combination of both? I've been telling people that I believe 
the OpenSolaris "Membership" has done very little in the last year to 
actually lead itself. And, so, I think things have stalled in some areas 
and people feel frustrated. And I'm talking primarily in the areas of 
community development. However, I don't see that lack of movement in 
India. And I'm seeing it less and less in China lately, too, as that 
community has started to scale up significantly. Why? Why are those two 
regions -- millions of miles away from California -- building community 
and organizing and meeting and staying positive while the main community 
seems to be spinning around lately? I could be wrong, of course, but 
that's what I see.
