I used MS PowerPoint 2007 with a template derived frim Office Online. 

BOSUG, don't beat me for this. As much as I love FOSS, no FOSS office suite comes remotely close to MS Office 2007 in terms of usability and features. Not even StarOffice which is free as in beer.
