 The crossbow team is excited to announce the availability of the
 project's new
 Beta release. SPARC-based and x86-based bfu archives of snv_81 as well as
 DVD iso images and draft man pages are ready for download from
 http://opensolaris.org/os/project/crossbow/snapshots/

 Many new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements are included in
 this release. For details, see What's Hot and What's New in
 http://opensolaris.org/os/project/crossbow/CrossbowBeta/

 This release is also bundled with a new Web-based
 administration tool from the Virtual Networking Machine
 http://opensolaris.org/os/project/vnm/

 New and enhanced examples and use cases are described
 in http://opensolaris.org/os/project/crossbow/Docs/getting-started/
 Additionally, we included a workshop that allows users to configure real
 network and routers, debug connectivity and do bottleneck analysis without
 needing a real network using Crossbow technology.
