Are you running moinak's KDE bits or is this from blastwave or 
kde.solaris.org or compiled from source ??

There is no "support" for it officially. But then thats what user groups 
and mailing lists are for. Run amarok from the command line and see if 
it throws out errors or debug messages. Also check if there is a core 
file left in your home directory.

I use KDE 3.5.8 and amarok runs like 18 hours a day continuously without 
problems ;-)
