   Good. This feature has several usages and will prove beneficial. After
   a working port we need to implement support for booting off UnionFS.
   Thereby we can reduce the ramdisk footprint drastically to something
   like 10MB or so.

   BTW are you also incorporating all the additional patches for FreeBSD
   UnionFS that fix many of the shortcomings ?
